The WeStatiX SHM project aims to revolutionize the structural health monitoring (SHM) and predictive maintenance of civil infrastructures by integrating advanced digital twin technologies, real-time IoT data, and physics-informed artificial intelligence. Building on a proven TRL 6 prototype, the project will further develop a scalable platform composed of two core modules – Twin Monitoring and Twin Builder – designed to automate model creation, calibration, and performance analysis. By reducing configuration time and costs by up to 80%, the solution enables continuous, accurate assessment of infrastructure health, helping infrastructure managers shift from scheduled to predictive maintenance. With its advanced capabilities, WeStatiX SHM is set to reduce the risk of sudden failures, extend infrastructure lifespan by 20–30%, and cut maintenance costs, all while contributing to environmental sustainability and resilience in line with EU Green Deal objectives.
